Who we are

Our focus is on helping individuals, families and groups get healed and free through effective Christ-centred prayer ministry and resources. ​Bethesda Heilungsdienst, founded in 2013, is networked with various churches and organisations in Switzerland and beyond. 

Daniel Baumgartner

Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Theology (STH, Basel) and completed postgraduate studies in pastoral and marriage counselling at Trinity College, Bristol (UK). He is an ordained minister with extensive experience helping people identify and overcome barriers to living an abundant life in Christ. He spent ten years in pastoral mission work in northern Argentina before relocating with his family to Switzerland in 2007. His favourite Bible verse is Matthew 19:26: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Esther Baumgartner-Taylor

Esther is a second-generation healing and deliverance minister and the daughter of Albert and Elisabeth Taylor, authors of Ministering Below the Surface. Born in Kenya, she moved to England at the age of seven. She holds a BA in Hispanic and African Studies from the University of Birmingham and trained as a secondary school teacher at the University of Bristol. As a mother of three young men, she is deeply committed to equipping parents and helping children and teenagers step into healing, freedom, and lasting wholeness.
